I wrote this book to help those who are struggling with finding traffic to
their websites, fan pages and offers.

That was the biggest stumbling block I faced when I started out. I would build site
after site, and then they would just sit there and gather cyber dust. The problem
was always the same. No traffic equals no sales.

So, I spent several months and more money than I want to admit researching and
buying training on how to do SEO, because I thought that was the best way to
drive traffic. Well, I have to tell you right now, free traffic isn’t free. That free
organic traffic cost me several thousand dollars in training and useless
Back-linking, article spinning, keyword finding software and a whole lot of other
useless crap.

I finally got wise and realized I needed to control the traffic I bring to my sites and
offers, not Google, not SEO. They can and do change their minds on what they
want and who they love in the blink of an eye.

So, I looked at the most successful internet marketers out there and started reverse
engineering what they were doing. You know what? I found a common theme. All
of these people were doing one thing in common and that was Not Relying On
SEO. Organic traffic is fine, but it’s just not the most dependable.
So what were they doing to bring visitors to their sites, then?

Well in my course Red Hot Traffic Firestorm I mention four really good, evergreen
sources and how to use them in a way that most people just don’t know about. If
you were to apply those traffic sources you’ll be out in front of most marketers out
there.

But, in this book I’ve brought together an absolute treasure of powerhouse traffic
sources that very few people are talking about and the biggest names in the
business use. I’m talking about 10,000 visitors in a day or less and generating 150
to 300 subscribers to your list in a few hours and these are highly targeted and
qualified people.

So let’s dig right into this and let me show you just how powerful this stuff is…

1) Google Hangouts Party of One Please :

Google hangouts are a fairly recent thing. Google Hangouts are a webinar type
video service that’s offered through YouTube, (owned by Google) that allows you
to hold a virtual meeting with several people, (or one person) at the same time in
real time.
You can share files, videos, docs and images through the service. You can have
theoretically unlimited people online watching through the “Hangouts On Air”
feature and the Hangout can be watched on just about any device capable of having
a web browser or Youtube APP.

The best part of all this is that Google hangouts are completely free to setup and
put on and you will get a video of the entire broadcast that automatically uploads to
your YouTube Channel. You don’t even need to use any software to record it.
Google Hangouts get a lot of SERP love from google, well because Google owns
YouTube. This is going to be really important to us. You can literally reach a huge
and keyword targeted audience FREE.

Here’s What You Need to Do to Set It Up

First you’ll need to set up a Gmail account and I recommend you use one that’s
specific for your business, not your personal account. I always like to keep my
business and personal lives separate online. It is just a lot simpler that way.

Do the same thing with setting up a YouTube account and make sure to keep it
separate from your personal account. This probably is not the place for all the
funny cat and baby videos and Aunt Erma’s apple pie recipe.

Anyway, sign into your YouTube account with your Gmail login to make sure
they’re linked. Then you should completely set up your user profile and your
channel, because the channel you set up is the place that will hold all your
hangouts.

After you’ve completed all that you still need to go back to your G+ account that
Google required you to have, when you signed up for Gmail and add a profile
picture. If you don’t want to use your own image, I recommend you go to one of
the free sites and pick a real person image that looks natural. I personally use my
own image, because I want to brand everything I do online with who I actually am,
but it’s up to you. Then finish filling out and making your G+ profile the way you
want it. You can also add as many people to your circle as you like.

That’s about all there is to get Google hangouts ready to go.
Getting Ready For Your Hangout
The first thing to do while you’re still in your G+ account is to click on the
Hangouts button from the drop down menu in the upper right area, entitled Home.
Then click on Hangouts On Air

Fill in the required details to get started, like the name
of the hangout and your keywords you’re ranking for.
Tip: Get the name of your product in the Name. Then
give a keyword rich description of what the hangout is
covering and if you want to start the hangout now or later.

You can have any audience you want hangout, but that is
where my method is different than a normal webinar, at
this point just choose to have only yourself on the hangout.
You could do this by choosing the little people icon in the
lower right.

The idea here is really to create a video to drive traffic to your product, not to have
a live webinar per se. After all of that simply click the share button and when
you’re ready to start recording click Start. Remember it can be for NOW or
recorded for later, in the selection we made previously. It will automatically go to
your channel after the session has ended.
Make sure to keep the video public, because we want it to be available for as many
people who will watch it and also to be seen by Google to rank the video.
Ranking Your Google Hangout
I see a lot of fancy stuff out there to help rank videos, but to tell you the truth, I’ve
always been able to get Google love simply by doing a couple of simple things.
Remember, Google already loves Hangouts, because they really want us using
them and are trying to get them popular, it only makes sense.
Here’s pretty much all I’ve ever needed to do with Hangouts, because of their
special status in the eyes of Google:
1. Have Keywords in the title of the Hangout. I mentioned this earlier in a tip.
2. Put your link that you’re driving traffic to first in the description, just like
you would for a normal video.

3. Write at least 150 word description that’s benefit rich and also keyword rich.
Put your best eye catching stuff in the first few lines, to be seen without
having to scroll. This is the place to use copywriting skills to sell them on
clicking the link, not buying the product.
4. You can use your 5 or so most important keywords in the tag section.
Another thing you could do and should test is to search Google and
YouTube with your main keyword and then see what videos come up. Look
to see what their main keywords are and possibly incorporate them into your
tags.
You only need to try to get these few things and you’re golden with Google
Hangouts.

1) Get viewers to watch at least 75% of your hangouts. They can be short,
maybe just a couple of minutes long; no need for 30 minute presentations.

2) Get some Social Bookmarks for them if you like, that generally helps.

3) Then also try to embed them on your website and on your fan page on

Facebook, HubPages, Tumblr; places like that. The more places where
they’re embedded, the better for ranking.

That’s all the SEO I ever do for ranking hangouts. Google loves them. Will that
change soon? I have no idea, Google changes their mind about everything
whenever they feel like it, but it is definitely working now and you can make a lot
of money using hangouts to showcase whatever it is you’re driving traffic to.

Using an Almost Unknown Traffic Source: LaunchBit

As far as I can tell I haven’t seen anyone using this traffic source. I find that odd,
because some of the largest media buyers in the world use it and it’s a huge traffic
generator.

Launchbit.com has a very unique way you can generate leads.
You can run small ads on their network sort of like running a side bar ad on
Facebook.

The difference is that Launchbit has massive email lists they send your ads out to
and they are in just about any niche you can imagine.

They let you set your monthly budget, (it’s a paid traffic source). The default is
$1000, but you can change that later on. And they let you bid on clicks, the default
being $0.01 per targeted click. Your credit card is not billed until the campaign has
runs its course.

The next thing you do is set your demographics. Note that some of the publishing
networks are powerhouse internet marketers like Social Media Examiner and Tracking202 and many more. This is a great audience to get your ad in front of.

Next choose your placements: These are the ad networks you can place your ads
with.

Then bid for what you want to pay for a click

Next upload your ad in the creatives section. You have got 3 choices.

And lastly you put in the URL where you want traffic directed to. It’s just that
simple.

So once you’ve done all that, you can review and launch your campaign. The
traffic generated from this network can be server crushingly large. This may not be
the best source for someone just starting out as it can get a bit pricey if you are on a
very tight budget, but for more experienced players it is a great additional
powerhouse traffic generator that no one seems to be talking about.

Keep in mind that these ads you create are actually going out to launchbit’s email
lists with their partner publishers like the ones mentioned above.

This is a source that while geared to the more sophisticated marketer is definitely an
avenue worth pursuing.

2) Traffic on Fire with PTC :

PTC is an interesting and odd form of traffic. It stands for “paid to click” and the
way it works is people sign up of these advertising network sites and are paid a
very tiny amount of money to click on advertisements.

There’s nothing really new about this traffic source and many marketers have been
using it for years, but the thing is, most of them have no clue how to entice the
targeted audience that’s there.

They run these elaborate and artistic ads that no one is ever going to take action on.
If you’re smart, you’ll be doing something better. There are only a few out there
using an approach like this and it’s a confirming feeling when I see a similar
approach to this in an ad. I know then there’s someone who has a clue about what a
treasure this traffic is.

Usually the going rate is not much more than a tenth of a penny per click. The
advertisements can run anywhere from about 5 seconds to 60 seconds for the
extended ones. Well anyway, it’s a dismal and very inefficient way to make
money online.

If you do the math, the most you can make doing this works out to be, and that’s if
you’re doing it at top speed, $6 per hour. That’s $3 under minimum wage and to
make matters worse, most sites cap your income each day so there’s simply no way
to make even that much. Ouch!

Most of the people who are doing this are DESPERATE for a way to make money
online and are willing to try just about anything at this point. Hmm, a large group
of people that have a desperate problem that needs a solution and are willing to do
whatever they have to solve it… What can we do with this information?

Well if you remember back to your basic sales training, you must have learned
elsewhere, with ever problem, there’s opportunity and the greater the problem, the
greater the opportunity. If we can figure out a solution to their desperate problem,
they will jump at the chance to get it taken care of.

By the way, if you’re thinking about signing up and doing this, all I have to say is
get a job instead. However, within this type of traffic is a diamond in the rough if
you know where to look and how to extract it.

So let’s dig in and see just how all this works…

The first thing to do is find where the diamonds may be and to do this, simply do a
Google search for “paid to click”. You’ll come up with a rather large list, as you
can see.

Just a quick glance shows that there are over 2 million members
in most of these sites. That’s 2 Million people with a desperate
problem and a desperate need to solve it.

So, what you’ll want to do is to register at a few of these sites.

I’ve created a new account at a couple of them for this demo. The first one is Two
Dollar Click and if you take a quick look at the top menu, you can View ads,
(sucker move), or you can purchase. This is what we want.

This is where you can place an ad for those desperate people to see and in the make
money online niche, that traffic couldn’t be more targeted, it’s like there’s a lazer
dot drawn on them.
These people look at ads all day long and most of the ads look like this… ugg…

So these people stay on this confusing mess for the minimum time required to get
paid and then move on to the next view. What a waste of ad space. I would have
fired the ad agency a long time ago.

Simply purchase an ad that will be displayed to these people and go for the shortest
amount of time you can. I think at most of them it’s 5 seconds or so. And instead
of creating a normal squeeze page that cannot possibly be read and acted upon in 5 seconds, go with the simplist and ugliest advertisment you can imagine, that can be understood the moment it pops up.

3) Outbrain.com Advertorial Inferno :

So What The Heck Is Outbrain?

Outbrain is a content discovery platform on the internet and there are 2 ways you
can use Outbrain.

1. Called Outbrain Amplify: Grow your audience by distributing your content
on other sites, where people are looking for something new to discover. The
audience coming from Outbrain is already in content consumption mode,
therefore more engaged and more likely to stay longer.

2. Outbrain Engage: Install their software to offer recommendations and help
your audience discover more content on your site that’s interesting to them.
Add a new revenue stream by offering recommendations to high-quality
third-party content on other sites, sort of like adsense.

With Outbrain Amplify, links to your content appear as recommendations on the
web's largest content publishers including sites like CNN.com, Slate and ESPN.
The more interesting your content and the more traffic you drive, the more it will
be recommended around the web.

You can promote articles, videos, slideshows, infographics, or even earned media
that offers informational or entertainment value to the audience, but the thing that
works the best on Outbrain by far is the advertorial. You know it’s an ad that looks
like a news article, except all of the links are to products and the copy is written in
news format.

So if you take a look at say CNN.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page
you’ll see these what look like news pieces with headlines that you can click on to
read the article. Only many of them are in fact advertisements. It’s a very stealthy
way to get your content seen and it works like magic.

Another fantastic advantage of this type of traffic is that you can post on your sales
pages that you’ve been featured on the big websites like CNN and Huffington post
and ESPN.com. Talk about powerful social proof.

It works like this. At the bottom of the page where Outbrain is advertising, you’ll
find 4 to 6 pictures with headlines for various blog posts that are related or relevant
to the topic of what you were reading on the site. These related blogs are from Outbrain and can be directed to your advertorial and the beauty of this is that this type of advertising is actually pretty cheap. The amount of exposure is mindblowingly large. I mean we’re talking about CNN and ESPN and Slate.com here:
